Smallville Lex Last Scene

Just before I give you the inside gossip on Smallville Quest, I just wanna fill you in on this.

As you probably know, some of the execs are leaving Smallville to do their own thing. Anyway, I was speaking to a member of our community who was a little “upset” over the way Smallville is moving.

You see, Tom’s the more traditional comic book follower. And he thinks the dudes at CW are totally destroying the superman saga.

… And wait for it…. Making it their own. Ok. Now there’s nothing WRONG with being a comic book follower. :)

Anyway, I think he wants them to keep to the legacy and the comic book story. And when he heard that Lex finds out Clark’s secret, he went totally nuts. (I think I even heard the little vain popping right out of head!) And when he got on to Doomsday… Ohh. I think he just lost it.

Now the reason why I bring this is up is because of Smallville Quest. You see, I think it’s gonna be a good episode. Don’t get me wrong. But I think they are building up to the finale where Lex finds out about Smallville Clark’s true powers.

Anyway, here’s the official description for Smallville Quest.

CLARK MEETS THE LAST MEMBER OF VERITAS — Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) is attacked by a cloaked stranger who carves kryptonian symbols into his chest - a message for Clark (Tom Welling). Chloe (Allison Mack) and Clark investigate and discover one member of the Veritas clan has survived and is hiding in a church. Clark and Lex race to be the first to find this mysterious Veritas member, who holds the key to Clark’s survival. Aaron Ashmore also stars. Ken Biller directed the episode written by Holly Harold (3T6319).

Make sure you tune in to Smallville Quest. Oh and by the way. Do you think Tom is right in all this? Let me know by leaving a comment below.

Yes Tom is correct! The show is very good and we are looking forward to the final season. However, “Superman” has spend just too much time as completely vunerable. I mean, a little Kryptonite here and there - ok. However, a pistol that shoots Kyroptonite bullets?? The transfer of his powers via an electric shock? This does not cut it. Certainly the show can grow, but lets stay within the universe of the Comic and at least keep most of the “super” in Superman.

yeah he is right! The writers have to have something to go with to keep the series going, I understand this. But to stray to far from the original story of superman is to pull away from the fan base of the series.
