Now you maybe wondering what went on last Thursday in Smallville. You see, the previews were all about Clark thinking it was Davis who was killing people in Metropolis. Anyway, if you watch Smallville Prey last Thursday, you probably know that the episode rocked. You see, we mentioned a few days earlier about Davis being questioned and maybe found innocent of the attacks and stuff. But we didn’t really know he wouldn’t be totally innocent.

Now Davis had a really cool episode which leads to his Doomsday persona. I totally believed his vulnerability. But, I’m just wondering how long him and Clark spent on that scene in the hospital. You see, it was one of the best scenes of the night. (Although Martian Manhunter calling Lois “mouthy” was pretty cool. I had a bit of a laugh over that. Just wished she was there.)

Anyway, the other person who I thought was really cool was Jimmy. You see, he went out of his way to get some good photos for the Daily Planet. I’m not sure about you, but I got the impression he was trying to get back to the Jimmy of old! I guess he took me by surprise.

As for Jimmy’s other half, I think Chloe is beginning to show a little sign that she is a “floozy”. You know, being engaged to Jimmy is good. But to then start having feeling for Davis? Wow. I thought this is a family show! (Ok. Maybe not!) You know, I think this is gonna start clouding her judgment and stuff. Especially like backing up Davis in this episode. I’m beginning to wonder where this is all leading us.

Anywho. I have to say that Clark was a standout again. I guess having shaken off the monkey from his back (I mean, Lana), Clark is more of a superhero. No more whining and feeling sad and stuff. This is Clark 2.0. And on the verge of being Superman.

But if you watched Smallville Prey, I’m sure you’ll agree with me when I say how freakin cool MM was. Yep. Martin Manhunter absolutely rocked. You know, I thought the scenes he was in were priceless.

… Especially the one where he mentions Smallville Clark wear a mask or something. That comment had me rolling around on the floor. You see, I just can’t see the writers wanting to hide Clark’s face.

But hey. Worth asking right!?

One thing I think is for sure is this. MM looks like he is beginning to take the place of Jonathon.
