Basically, there are a few options. We recommend you go out and get the dvds. Seriously, this is way cool.

But if you can’t for whatever reason, then one way maybe is to watch snippets from CW on sites like Youtube and stuff. They are good, although they don’t have the full episodes.

There are membership sites which people use.

Anyway, as you probably know, Lex, is gone. And so too Kara. Now, they are going to be missed. So that means there will be new villians and stuff in Smallville Season 8.

So what will they be like?

Well, here’s a release from CW which lets you know abit about those new characters. It’s long, but well worth the read.

Sam Witwer (“Battlestar Galactica”) and Cassidy Freeman (“Finishing the Game”) Join Cast of Hit Series for Eighth Season This Fall

(June 19, 2008) – Rocked by the mysterious death of Lionel Luthor and the sudden disappearance of his son, Lex, the town of Smallville will be put further on edge this fall with the arrival of two new villains, as Sam Witwer (“Battlestar Galactica”) and Cassidy Freeman (“Finishing the Game: The Search for a New Bruce Lee”) join the cast of “Smallville” (Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW) as series regulars for the hit show’s eighth season.Witwer will play Davis Bloome, a charismatic Metropolis paramedic who – when he isn’t saving people – is forced to confront a burgeoning darkness inside of him that just might be a harbinger of doom.

Freeman will play Tess Mercer. Handpicked by Lex Luthor to succeed him before he vanished, Tess arrives in Smallville as acting CEO of LuthorCorp. Beneath her mysterious allure lies a cunning ruthlessness to match her mentor’s.

“We’re thrilled that Sam and Cassidy will be joining the cast, and we have some very exciting things in store for them, their characters and ‘Smallville’ fans for this season,” said executive producers Kelly Souders, Brian Peterson, Todd Slavkin and Darren Swimmer in a joint statement. “They are both incredibly talented performers, and we cannot wait to begin to work with them.”

Best known for his role as Alex “Crashdown” Quartararo on the acclaimed series “Battlestar Galactica,” Witwer is also featured in the forthcoming “Star Wars: The Force Unleashed” video game. His previous credits include “Stephen King’s The Mist” (written and directed by Frank Darabont) and guest-starring roles on a number of series, including “Dexter,” “Cold Case,” “Enterprise,” “Angel,” “Dark Angel” and “ER,” among many others.

Freeman previously appeared in the feature film “Finishing the Game: The Search for a New Bruce Lee,” which debuted at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival in 2007. Her other television and motion picture credits include a guest-starring role on “Cold Case,” the made-for-television movie “An Accidental Christmas,” the independent film “Shades of Gray,” and shorts “Clock” and “Razor Sharp,” among others.

Ok. First off. This looks like a long post, but it’s really long because there’s a press release in here.

Now, you may already know that with the end of Smallville Season 7 comes the dvds and stuff. Anyway, CW have a press release which you should take a look at. You see, if you’re a Smallville fan, then you gonna love what they have in store.

Now, if you loved Smallville Season 7, then the dvd set is something you will want. I know I’ve preordered mine with Amazon. And I’m praying I’ll get the dvd’s delivered to me before anyone else! I guess you got to be crazy not to preorder them! (Oh and if you do, they are selling them at Amazon)

Anyway, I know I’ll have to wait a little bit. You see, the complete set are due for release on September 9 2008. (Thats like a few months or something wait!)

Ok. Whenever a Smallville season ends, I always feel like a drug addict or something. You see, I seriously don’t know what to do tonight. Anyway, I feel like someone has given me something bad, and now they have taken it away from me!

… Oh no. Here comes that empty feeling again!

Now, if you are a Smallville fan like me, you probably know how devastating the first month is without Smallville. Especially when you watch like all 20 episodes or something.

Anyway, I’m not sure what I’ll do now. Maybe I’ll sit around and think about Kara. Or how she’s not going to be a regular next season.

Oh well. So what you think you going to do for the next few months?

Sad news to share with Kara fans.

Now you probably know how Laura Vandervoort was not in the cast list when CW sent out their press release. And you may know there was a little confusion as to whether she will be with us for Smallville Season 8.

Well, I got some bad news.

I think we have seen the last of Kara. You see, in TV Guide, Laura spoke to Mike Ausiello about her role as Kara and what the future lies for her.

Well, Laura had this to say;

“They announced the cast… and I’m not a part of it,” Vandervoort told TV Guide’s Mike Ausiello. “We were all surprised when they chose not to bring me back as a regular, but I’m sure I’ll be back for one or two [episodes]!”

Anyway, you can see she’s got a bright future. Especially when she had this to say.

“The show is about Clark Kent, and I was honored to be a part of it. I mean, my character became more than it was supposed to be. She ended up sticking around the entire season.”

Now, the last Smallville episode had Kara somewhere in the “Phantom Zone”. I just hope someone see’s how hard working and dedicated she is, and pics her up.

Ok. So there’s less than 24 hours before we watch Smallville Arctic. And from the sounds of it, we hear it’s gonna be a wild ride.

You see, as we saw in the trailer, Kara tells Lex about the Fortress and takes him there. But Kara isn’t really Kara. You see, it is really Brainiac.

Anyway, Smallville Arctic is going to be up there with the best Smallville season finales. And as you probably already know, Lex finds out about Clarks secret. (I don’t know about that, but, most members of our community are divided whether the writers should of stayed with the comic book)

Anyway, here’s the official dsecription from CW.

LEX DISCOVERS CLARK’S SECRET — Kara (Laura Vandervoort) tells Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) he is destined to defeat the Traveler and offers to take him to the Fortress to learn how. Clark (Tom Welling) is stunned that Kara would go to Lex but it is revealed that Brainiac is impersonating Kara and she’s actually trapped in the Phantom Zone. Chloe is arrested by the Department of Domestic Security and Lana awakens from her comatose state. Meanwhile, in an epic turn of events, Clark and Lex face off in the Fortress and Lex learns Clark’s secret. Erica Durance and Aaron Ashmore also star. Todd Slavkin directed the episode written by Don Whitehead & Holly Henderson (3T6320).

Make sure you are wating Smallville. You don’t want to miss it.

… And now we are at the season finale. (This is where I cry or something)

Anyway, as you probably know, Smallville Artic is the last episode this season. And it looks to be a good one. You see, in Smallville Arctic, Lex is taken to the Fortress to fulfill his destiny.

… Chloe is arrested by the government.

And probably the saddest news of them all.

… Lana awakens from her com. Yep, the writers have got it wrong AGAIN! (Ok. I’m just joking Lana fans. But I just find it boring now of the Clana thing)

Anyway, if you haven’t seen it yet, take a look at the Smallville Arctic online trailer which I found on Youtube.

Anyway, some of our Canadian comunity members say Quest rocks.

… Action, non-stop, every single minute. But you gotta be on the ball. Because they do try to pack in lots of info. And yeah. I guess the reason why they do this is to set up for the season finale. (For those not sure of the title, the episode is called Smallville Artic :))

Anyway, I found this clip and thought I’d show you Lex in “mean” mode. As you’ll probably recognize, this is the Director’s Cut clip for Smallville Quest.

Just before I give you the inside gossip on Smallville Quest, I just wanna fill you in on this.

As you probably know, some of the execs are leaving Smallville to do their own thing. Anyway, I was speaking to a member of our community who was a little “upset” over the way Smallville is moving.

You see, Tom’s the more traditional comic book follower. And he thinks the dudes at CW are totally destroying the superman saga.

… And wait for it…. Making it their own. Ok. Now there’s nothing WRONG with being a comic book follower.

Anyway, I think he wants them to keep to the legacy and the comic book story. And when he heard that Lex finds out Clark’s secret, he went totally nuts. (I think I even heard the little vain popping right out of head!) And when he got on to Doomsday… Ohh. I think he just lost it.

Now the reason why I bring this is up is because of Smallville Quest. You see, I think it’s gonna be a good episode. Don’t get me wrong. But I think they are building up to the finale where Lex finds out about Smallville Clark’s true powers.

CLARK MEETS THE LAST MEMBER OF VERITAS — Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) is attacked by a cloaked stranger who carves kryptonian symbols into his chest - a message for Clark (Tom Welling).
